SIL Debate Club

The SIL Debate Club was initiated this year as a workshop to develop the capacities of critical analysis, fluency, body posture and gesture. Students from the 7th grade to the 3rd course participated, and they had the opportunity to participate in three intercollegiate debates, obtaining 2nd place at the SEK school and 2nd place in two categories at the American School of Asuncion. These activities greatly strengthen one of the fundamental pillars of SIL, bilingual education. We congratulate our students for the great effort which they displayed in these competitions, which were so important for their personal development.
