Project Defense 2016

During the Defenses, our students presented before external professionals and professors of SIL, the projects that they have developed, investigated and learned during the scholastic year following the scientific and enterprise methods. This activity to a great extent fortifies three fundamental pillars of SIL: Scientific-Technical education; Education for Leadership and Entrepreneurship and Bilingual Education. Inter School Debate Forum

“Corruption: how it affects our lives” was the title of the Forum, organized by students of 2° Year of the Las Almenas school, in which the schools San Ignacio de Loyola, Campo Alto, the International, Santa Clara and Las Almenas participated, which presented their respective investigations before a panel of specialists. The essay presented was titled “Corruption, the image that we do not want to see in the mirror”, elaborated by members of the Academy of History, Ana Feltes, Constanza Irún, Amparo Oliver, Sofía Horvath, Eva Sofía Cáceres and Andrés Riera, these last two had the responsibility to present the work.

Visit of Gunter Pauli

During his visit to Paraguay, the Belgian entrepreneur Gunter Pauli visited the school and met with the children of primary school, where he shared his lived experiences that served as inspiration to write his fables on environmental education. He encouraged the children to adopt a sustainable form of life, and shared some tricks to obtain it. Thank you very much Mr. Gunter for the kind visit!

Business Dinner

The Counseling Department, in carrying out the Vocational Orientation Project, held the Business Dinner on Tuesday the 6th of September, with the students of the third course. This activity creates an encounter with professionals who correspond to the vocational preference of the students, in a different context, which facilitates knowledge of the chosen profession. The accompanying professionals came from different university careers, with vast and outstanding labor and educational experience. The encounter took place in IL Capo.
