Visit of Ninth Grades to the National Congress

Within the framework of the Parlasil Project (a simulacrum of a parliamentary session), the students of the Ninth Grade visited the National Congress, where they were received by representatives of the Public Relations area of Chamber of Deputies Victor Attis and Marta Alonso who guided the visit of the students and explained the functions of the Legislative Branch and of the legislators in particular, with reference to the formulation and passing of laws, the function of the committees as well as the key concepts which allowed them to comprehend the legislative dynamic. The visit included the Museum of Sacred Art Roque Gonzalez de Santacruz where they were received by a specialist who shared with them the rich history of the site.

This experience

allows the students to comprehend what the functions of the senators and deputies are and their importance in making decisions to define the course of our country.
