Visit to the Congress and Cultural Center El Cabildo

Under the project ParlaSIL, our students from 9th Grade "A" and "B" have participated in a guided visit to the National Congress and the Cultural Center El Cabildo.

Strengthening their knowledge of the subjects History and Geography and Ethics and Citizenship education, they had the opportunity to learn about various topics such as:

• The three powers of the State
• The steps for the realization of a bill and its presentation
• The committees that integrate the Chambers of Senate and Deputies
• How bench meetings are made
• The function of the Bicameral Chamber, among other topics

They also had the opportunity to expand their knowledge of Paraguayan Sacred and Colonial Art, and on the life of renowned local artists including musicians, painters, poets and writers.
