Visit to the Don Luis Braille Special School

Representative students of the SIL Class of 2016 visited the Escuela Especial Don Luis Braille, where they donated obstacle-detecting canes for the blind, designed by they themselves. They spent time with the students of the Escuela, to whom they explained how the devices worked and they tested them together.

These devices were designed for use sticks of blind people, with ultrasonic proximity sensors and audible signal to detect obstacles up to 3 meters away, designed and built by students.

It was a great experience for everyone!
