Tips for a safe Christmas

Christmas is a special time to share with family and children. To enjoy without frights or accidents, we share with you a few simple safety tips that you can consider.

  • The ornaments for the Christmas tree should be made of unbreakable materials such as cardboard, cloth or plastic as they are safer than glass.
  • Make sure that you use no ornaments with small parts or covers that can come off easily, babies and small children could swallow.
  • If you have children under three years, it is best to avoid little Nativity Scene figures, they can cause choking.
  • Babies may want to touch and bite electrical cords, so you have to put Christmas lights out of reach.
  • Candles can cause fires and burns, so they should never be unattended and less near small children.
