CIENCAP

With very original projects our students gained First Place in the category of Engineering and its Technologies in the International Fair of Science and Technology CIENCAP.

The students of 3° Year BATIN, Verónica Schroeder and Javier Eyrie, representation of their companions, competed and gained the Gold medal, with the project named: System of Measurement of Volume, “A Smart Choice”.

The project consists of a ultrasonic sensor with a arduino plate whose function is to send a sound waiting for it to bounce and by means of it obtaining the volume of a tank can contain liquids or solid elements. The data that are obtained from this process are stored and can be observed in a page Web created by the students.

The representing students of 2° Courses, Leticia Quiñonez and Kevin March, exhibited the project: Wind generator “A Clean Revolution”, that consisted of constructing an efficient aerogenerador with helices of vertical axis; these helices, allow the generator to take advantage of the mechanical energy that the wind provides independently to produce electrical energy independently of its direction.

This way the students have obtained the accreditation to participate in Expo-Science the International ESI to be celebrated in Mazatlán, Mexico in May of the 2016.

Many congratulations to them and the tutors, Prof. Pedro Brizuela and Pro. Deibys Bogarín. You are the pride of the family SIL!
