Academy of History - New authorities

The new Board of the Academy of History SIL "Alfredo Seiferheld" for the period 2015, took office during the general formation last Monday. The new board members are: President: Baruc Lombardo Vice President: Marcelo Sánchez Secretary: María Sol Quiroz Treasurer: Ana Laura Sanchez

These student leaders, along with the other members of the Academy of History, which is composed of young 7th grade to 3rd year students, meet every Friday from 7:15 to 8:00 in the morning, in a place where discussions, debates, opinions and discussions prevail on topics investigated such as: Paraguayan music, the importance of the Guarani language, the Civil War of 1947, immigrants, indigenous ethnicity, the Paraguayan triple alliance War and microhistory, among others. Those involved in this educational space, also organize various activities and presentations.

The teachers accompanying closely this space of the love for history are Anahi Soto, M.A and Paola Mineur, B.A.
