Complementary Education with innovative programs and educational services.

Personal Training and Development
The area of Personal Training and Development seeks to guide, through values,  our students’ character, so they may become honorable men and women for whom excellence has become part of their lifestyle.

Psychology and Counseling
The professionals working for the psychology and counseling department develop programs that assist and answer to the needs of each particular age group, while they also accompany individual needs through personalized tutorships.

Religious Counseling
Through the first Communion and Confirmation catechesis we want our students to become committed Catholics, who develop a bond with God and discover the Church as a place where they can achieve personal fulfillment; not only we aim to the sacramental preparation but also to the formation of Christian principles.

Educational and Social Counseling
We support positive and enterprising attitudes including vocational and working orientation so that students, starting from their own skills and talents, may have a clear appreciation about their possibilities in both the professional and working choices.

Training of Leaders
This training discovers and enhances positive aptitudes, through the development of community   and cooperative projects inside and outside the institution, awakening in our students the sense of social commitment and leadership.

Supervised Curricular internship
As part of this program, which is part of The Technical High School, 11th grade students carry out 240 hours of work internship at companies where they are given the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they had developed in their technical specialty, all in a real working situation.

Business Diner
To integrate our students to the labor world and to bring them nearer to what they want to be, 12th grade students are invited to various formal meetings with real world professionals who guide and encourage them in their chosen profession. In this way the students put into practice the protocol they learned at the institution.

Public Speech, Communication and Personal Marketing
This area creates  a way to develop the students’ communication skills, facilitating the acquisition of knowledge and skills that will help them interact in academic, political, cultural and religious situations, as well as in any social atmosphere. Communicational and Linguistics contests are therefore encouraged.

Math Olympics
Through participating in these Olympics we promote in our young students the best development of their logical and mathematical capacities, and their application to problem solving.

Robotic assembly shop

In this assembly shop students who belong to the COMPUTER SCENCE PROGRAM, have the opportunity of selecting and assembling the components of robots, using their own group designs. Every working group also programs the microprocessors that control the robots being built.

History Academy
It is a space for philosophical reflection and academic research that kindles the interest for Paraguayan history. It promotes the knowledge of   Paraguayan as well as world history.  All of these activities are encouraged through contests, public conferences, reports and research.

 Science Laboratory
It is the place where the practice of scientific investigation is carried out. All of this is done in classroom–laboratory settings, as well as in open spaces, in direct contact with nature.

 Printing Shop
We have a complete printing shop where students learn printing  methods  and practice   in garments and diverse objects through the use of various techniques

Fine Arts,  Music, Dance, Verbal Expression and Theater.
At all levels students participate in workshops concerning a variety of art disciplines.

.Junior Achievement
We have incorporated to our educational program the experience of “The Junior Achievement”, an enterprising organization that encourages within the students a sense of responsibility, motivation to overcome difficulties, understanding the value of work and self-management, all of which helps at achieving success in company management. The programs that the students develop are:

The Company.
It is a practical experience of creation, organization and operation of a real company whose product is conceived out of the inventiveness and creativity of each group of students.

Community leadership

It is an experience of creating a Non Government Organization (NGO),   carried out by the students to find creative solutions to social dilemmas within their own community. Using basic management tools such as organization, strategic planning, fund-raising, impact measurement, evaluation of results, and others, students aim to improve the processes that are part of community interaction.

Partners for one day
In this program, students accompany a professional (according to the profession they have previously selected) during their work day, participating in all the activities as a true “partner”.  These activities consist of interviews, board meetings, work lunches, etc. This is to help them understand the importance of their studies and their relationship with a successful professional future.

United Nations Role Playing

High School Students at SIL, take upon the role of diplomats and delegates who, through dialogue and negotiation, propose solutions to the multiple problems the International Community faces.  In the exercise of their diplomatic role, students also acquire knowledge about international politics andgeography, negotiations, the drafting of projects, as well as skills for public speech and protocol.
